VAN GOGH LECTURE

4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Winter Garden Art Association's SoBo Gallery, 127 S. Boyd St., Winter Garden. This lecture will discuss Vincent Van Gogh’s life and paintings and will delve into the legacy of this impactful artist. Practically unknown during his lifetime and having sold only one painting during his brief career, Van Gogh is now admired as a master of Modern Art. SCIENCE NIGHT LIVE

Among the events is a presentation at 8:15 by Winter Garden author Norine Dworkin-McDaniel, who wrote “Science of Parenthood: Thoroughly Unscientific Explanations for Utterly Baffling Parenting Situations.” Her show is a mix of stand-up, cartoon slideshow and comic storytelling. JCCF 8TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

11:30 a.m. Monday, March 5, at the West Orange Country Club, 3300 West Orange Country Club Drive, Winter Garden. Enjoy a day of golf and food to benefit the Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund.
