Windermere boys hoops tops Lake Brantley in Metro vs. Florida finale | Observer Preps

APOPKA The Windermere Wolverines took the court for the final game of the four-day Metro vs. Florida Challenge at Apopka High Jan. 15, facing off against Seminole County's Lake Brantley Patriots.

The Wolverines started strong — Windermere led 26-15 at halftime — and did not relent, ultimately securing a 50-39 victory over the Patriots.

Josh Colon led all scorers with 13 points and Dakota River weighed in with a double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds) for the Wolverines (9-6). Trey Moss added nine points and seven rebounds, while Tyler Davis weighed in with eight points and two blocks.

No player for Lake Brantley (6-10) scored in double-digits.
