WINTER GARDEN Red, white and blue filled Plant Street on Wednesday, July 4, as local children and families took over downtown Winter Garden for a star-spangled parade. Some children rode bikes or scooters decked out in patriotic gear, while others marched along and handed out candy or waved American flags. Additionally, families enjoyed a pancake breakfast beforehand. The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation and Winter Garden Masonic Lodge teamed up to host the event.
