Obituary: Francis Patrick Mullahy

Francis Patrick Mullahy, 84 (1934-2018), of Windermere, passed away Friday, July 13. The memorial service will be at Woodlawn Cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday July 21, 2018, with Father Bassam Saade of St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church, where Frank was a member, officiating. 
Frank was born in Watertown, Massachusetts, graduated from Northeastern University with a master’s degree in criminal justice and was a police officer and later a detective for the Watertown Police Department.  

He married Lorraine Bowen on Oct. 28, 1972. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Francis is preceded in death by his sisters, Mary and Patricia; and is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his daughter, Kristin, and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Strickland; the apple of his eye, his granddaughter, Anna Claire; and several nieces and nephews. 
Francis was a lover of animals, the New England Patriots and long walks and talks with his family at Castle Island in South Boston.
