Winter Garden Little League Junior All-Stars ready for district tournament

A roster full of aggressive base-runners and pitchers will hopefully be the key to success.

The Winter Garden Little League Junior All-Star team began play in the District 14 Tournament June 22, in pursuit of a district championship and more.

For head coach Michael Lowe, an experienced group of players and a deep pitching rotation will hopefully be the team's ticket to success.

"This group has a lot of history together," Lowe said. "We're pretty deep with pitching and I like the way we shape up in that respect. ... They're real good at aggressive base-running."
