PHOTOS: Dr. Phillips Little League Juniors top Ocoee in district tourney

The Florida Little League District 14 Juniors (Ages 13 and 14) Tournament has been ongoing over the past week and the All-Stars teams from Dr. Phillips Little League and Ocoee Little League squared off June 25 at Winter Garden Little League.

Dr. Phillips jumped out to an early lead, buoyed by a nine-run first inning, and defeated Ocoee 13-0.

With the win, DP improves to 2-1 so far in the tournament. Ocoee fell to 0-3.

Each team will play one more game June 26 and the championship game will take place June 27 at Winter Garden Little League. As for the other teams in the tournament, Winter Garden is 1-2, South Lake is 3-0 and Windermere is 1-2.
