LAKELAND — Though the result did not go the way they had hoped, the CFCA Eagles made their campus community proud Monday afternoon, playing in the program's first state semifinal since 1997.
CFCA (27-4) faced defending state champion Miami Christian in the FHSAA Class 2A State Semifinal at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.
