OCOEE — Local middle school basketball teams met on the court at Ocoee Middle Tuesday evening for the first round of the OCPS Middle School Boys Basketball Tournament.
Despite trailing by 12 points at the end of the third quarter, the host Ocoee Cardinals rallied to defeat the visiting Bridgewater Middle School Bobcats 38-32.
The Cardinals, who had an undefeated regular season and are now 8-0, host Discovery Middle School at 6 p.m. March 8 in the tournament's quarterfinal round.
