PHOTOS: Ocoee falls to Montverde Academy in Florida League tourney | Observer Preps

SANFORD — The Ocoee Knights took the field at Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium March 21 to take on Montverde Academy — the ninth-ranked team in the nation by MaxPreps' Xcellent 25 poll.

Ocoee (10-3) suffered just its third loss of the season, falling 10-0 to the Eagles (13-0) in five innings.

The game was the Knights' second of the week in the Florida League High School Invitational — Ocoee won its opening game of the tournament March 19, defeating University Christian 4-1.
