Obituary: William Samuel Jones

William Samuel Jones, 1922-2018, age 95, of Ocoee, went to join his loving wife of 70 years, Nellie Jones, on Thursday May 17, 2018.

Born in Sneedville, Tennessee, Sam moved to Ocoee from Miami in the late 1960s and opened a small auto-repair business. Sam kept the vehicles of a then-small Ocoee town and surrounding areas up and running for almost 30 years.

Sam is survived by his son, Jamie Jones; granddaughters, Cyndy Cole-Moschler, Rebecca Brooks Piety, Emily Ann Jones; grandsons, Ryan Jones, Joseph Marcum; great-grandsons, Christopher Cole, Jacob Piety; great-granddaughter, Jennifer Cole Carter; and four great-great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judith Bellamy Brooks.

A graveside service for Sam was held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, at Orlando Memorial Gardens, 5264 Ingram Road, Apopka, FL 32703.
