Yellow Dog Eats owner Fish Morgan invited community members to partake in an all-day party celebrating the popular Gotha restaurant's 20th anniversary.
For a $20 admission price, patrons enjoyed live music, food specials, beer and wine in the restaurant's rear parking lot. Part of the event's proceeds were donated to Orlando-based A Cause for Paws Rescue.
Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs attended the dog-friendly event to congratulate Morgan on his establishment's continued operation and issued a proclamation designating Nov. 10, 2018, as Yellow Dog Eats 20th Anniversary Day in Orange County.
Yellow Dog Eats, located at 1236 Hempel Avenue in Gotha, is known for its hip decor and eclectic menu and will be the first restaurant in Orange County to receive an official permit allowing the establishment to welcome customers wishing to dine with their dogs in outdoor-seating areas.
