Students, teachers, administrators and community leaders gathered Tuesday, Nov. 13 for the William S. Maxey Elementary Visual & Performing Arts Academy Dedication Ceremony. Held at the school’s cafeteria, the Maxey Elementary Dedication Ceremony marks a new chapter in the school’s rich history. The ceremony included performances by the Maxey Elementary Choir and the school’s Dance Troupe, a presentation of a school time capsule, as well as speeches from local leaders.
