Obituary: Charles H. Griffin

Charles H. Griffin, 76, of Minneola, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018. Charles was born on May 20, 1942, in Albany, Georgia. 

He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Sprint after 30 years of service and from the State of Georgia after 10 years of service.

Charles had a love of collecting guns and riding his Harley motorcycle. He was a former member of the Orange County Cruisers motorcycle club as well. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothea Fern Lauterbach Hall; father, Ray A. Griffin; and his wife, Linda A. Griffin.

Devoted daddy, he is survived by his daughter, Denise A. Griffin; son, Charles A. Griffin; aunt, Melrose Hartley; sister, Lynn Campbell; stepfather, Bobby Hall; and nephew, Darryl Schmidt. 

Services will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, and burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery following the service. Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden. baldwinfairchildwintergarden.com.
