Obituary: Geraldine Ireland

Geraldine Ireland, 73, of Oakland, Florida, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at home surrounded by family and friends. 

She was born Feb. 23, 1945, in Fall River, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late James and Albertina Farias. She was the oldest of two children.

On Sept. 7, 1990, she married David Ireland, who survives. She was a successful business owner and fulltime wife and partner, mom, grandma and great-grandma.

She is survived by her brother and sister in-law, James and Lisa Farias and family, of Tiverton, Massachusetts. She is survived by her seven children and their spouses, 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, from Florida to New England to New Zealand.
