Whisper Oak Wildcats walked, ran, danced or pranced as they took part in the elementary school’s inaugural Boosterthon Fun Run on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Wildcats spent the morning running, walking and sometimes dancing laps around the front of the school for the event. The purpose of the Boosterthon Fun Run is to raise money for school improvement while also providing character education to the students. Students learn about character traits, setting goals, teamwork and cooperation and more, Principal Kip Montgomery said.
