On Saturday, Sept. 29, Winter Parkers grabbed their rackets and headed over to the newly renovated Winter Park Tennis Center to celebrate in a re-opening ceremony.
From 9:00 a.m. to 11, visitors got to enjoy free play out on the eight new hard courts and check out the new pro shop.
Along with tennis, locals got to try out the city's first outdoor pickleball court — a game that utilizes a smaller court and the use of a wiffle ball instead of the typical tennis ball.
