It was a dominant afternoon for the Windermere Prep girls lacrosse team, as the Lakers dismantled Lake Mary Prep 19-5 on Wednesday, April 4.
Less than 30 seconds into the matchup Windermere Prep (8-0) struck first, and it was all downhill from there for the Griffins (4-7), who would go on to give up 14 more goals in the first half. The 15-3 halftime deficit would prove to be too much, as the Lakers remained perfect on the season.
The Lakers follow up their blowout win with a rematch against the Griffins tonight at 6 p.m.
