After a 14-4 loss to Lake Mary Prep (6-10) back on Tuesday, April 2, the Foundation Academy baseball team (8-6) got the revenge they were seeking in a 4-0 blanking of the Griffins on Thursday, April 4.
The Lions got five strong innings from freshman pitcher Dewon Brazelton, who struck out eight on his way to picking up the win. At the plate fellow freshman Dylan Rose led the way offensively, as he would go 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.
The win over the Griffins was followed by a 4-1 loss to Orangewood Christian on Friday, April 5. The Lions will look to rebound in a match up against Faith Christian on Monday, April 8.
