The town of Oakland held its annual Celebration Among the Oaks, and hundreds of children and families came out to enjoy the spring event. There were visits with the Easter Bunny, inflatables, a crafts booth, a petting zoo, music and food trucks.
The main event was the egg hunt, were thousands of colorful eggs were scattered around VanderLey Park for children of all ages to collect. Three children who found the golden eggs received circus tickets and scooters.
