Bay Meadows PTA to host popsicle play date

The fun get-to-know-you event is for Bay Meadows Elementary's kindergartners and their families.

Bay Meadows Elementary kindergarten families, get ready for a fun popsicle play date.

The school's PTA will host its "Popsicle Playdate" event from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, immediately following school pickup. Families will meet at Dr. Phillips Community Park, 8248 Buena Vista Blvd., Orlando.

Kindergarten families are encouraged to pop in for a while to get to know other kindergarten students and their parents. Students can play on the playground, make new friends and enjoy a popsicle, while parents and guardians have the opportunity to chat and socialize.
