Southwest Middle School theater students took audience members to the not-so-far-away land of Duloc with their production of “Shrek The Musical Jr.” Quinn Matheison was cast for the role of Shrek.

Students in Dr. Phillips High’s Center for International Studies magnet program got the chance to share the love of art with their peers Thursday, Feb. 28, during the International Art Night.

People and their pups took advantage of the nice weather as they spent a day dedicated to pets in downtown Windermere during the town’s PetFest. Owners loved watching their dogs fly over the obstacles in the doggie fun zone.

The Morton brothers of Dr. Phillips each earned the Eagle rank through projects at Dave’s House, an organization that serves individuals with serious mental illnesses.

Hundreds flocked to Hamlin Saturday, March 9, for the inaugural Horizon West Fest. Peyton Drummond was all smiles after getting his face painted.

Windermere Mayor-elect Jim O’Brien previously served as a Town Council member for eight years. O’Brien officially stepped into his new role Tuesday, March 26.
