Windermere High thespians took one of Broadway’s longest-running shows to the stage from April 11 to 14 with their production of “Chicago High School Edition.”

The Independence community kicked off its 15th anniversary celebration with a party for all ages Saturday, March 30. Trevor Sanders watched as his luminary floated about in the water during Saturday’s festivities.

L.T. Sipek and his mother, Lori Sipek, left, were surprised with two college scholarships at a Windermere Town Council meeting. Sipek began classes Florida Southern College after he graduated high school.
