In the second Class 8A, District 5 district semifinal on Wednesday, Feb. 13, the top-seeded Windermere Wolverines dismantled Lake Howell (17-11) in a 65-43 win.
The Wolverines' offense, which was led by Trey Moss' 16 points, went off for nine first-half shots from deep to help push Windermere (23-4) to victory. Big man Dakota Rivers had six points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots.
Up next for the Wolverines are the Ocoee Knights (17-10) in the district final on Friday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m.
