The dream of a state final four is alive-and-well for CFCA (18-9) following Thursday night's 78-41 thumping of Master's Academy (18-8) in the Class 2A, Region 2 semifinal.
Led by senior Anterrius Washington's team high 28 points, the Eagles came right out of the gate with a 14-0 run — from there on out, the Patriots had no answer of their own. Adding into the offensive onslaught were seniors Bryce Street and Jordan Preaster, who both picked up 16 points of their own.
The Eagles won't have time to rest on their laurels, however, as they'll host district foe Victory Christian Academy (20-7) in the regional final on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
