In a strong defensive effort by Windermere Prep, the Lakers managed to outplay CFCA in their 31-15 win on Friday, Jan. 4.
Led by sophomore guard Madison Workman's 12 points, as well as Olivia Ikeda's 10 points, the Lakers (8-4, 1-0) outscored the Eagles in all but one quarter in the game. For the Eagles, Shania McDonald led her team in scoring with seven points.
Up next for the Eagles is an away matchup at Victory Christian Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 8, while the Lakers will travel to Real Life Christian Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
