The town of Oakland is hosting a “Coffee with the Town Manager” from 9 to 10 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month. The first event with Steve Koontz is Thursday, July 18, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St.

Koontz invites residents to join him for coffee and conversation to learn more about town services and programs. They can ask questions and share their thoughts and ideas.

All coffee events are open to the public.

Other coffees are planned for Thursday, Aug. 15, at Oakland Meeting Hall; and Thursday, Sept. 19, at Historic Town Hall, 220 N. Tubb St.
