Gymnastics USA to host back-to-school event with Nastia Liukin

Gymnastics USA is gearing up for its free, back-to-school event, and Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is set to pay the gym a visit.

The open house and family-friendly party is set to take place Sunday, July 28. Families and budding gymnasts can enjoy music, food, raffles, prizes and games. Gymnastics USA is located at 13175 W. Colonial Drive, Winter Garden.

Liukin, a five-time Olympic medalist, has dedicated her life to discovering her passions, including mentoring aspiring gymnasts. She uses her story to encourage young women to turn their own dreams into reality and hopes to inspire others to find their passions, according to Gymnastics USA's website.

While the back-to-school open house in the main gym is free, the brunch with Liukin is a ticketed event. Tickets are $18.95 for adults and $14.95 for children. Tickets include the brunch meal, an acrobatic performance, a question-and-answer session with Liukin and a mimosa for the adults. After brunch, families are can join in on the event in the main gym. 

In addition to Liukin's appearance, Gymnastics USA is raffling off a free private lesson, a free birthday party and a free year of tuition. Winners will be drawn by Liukin.
