The local libraries are serving up some fun activities this summer. Find out what interests you!

 

1. HORIZON WEST LIBRARY POP-UP

10:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, at the Waterleigh Clubhouse, 16150 Pebble Bluff Loop, Winter Garden.

The Orange County Library System is bringing the fun to neighborhoods this summer with Library Pop-Up: Horizon West, featuring story times, crafts and fun for the family. Travel to the far reaches of outer space with “3, 2, 1 Blastoff!” with Mad Science Live. Travel among the planets, meet friendly aliens and cook up a kitchen comet with mad scientists.

2. GALAXY WINE GLASS ART

2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the West Oaks Library, 1821 E. Silver Star Road, Ocoee.

Paint your universe and create a unique design on a wine glass using acrylics. Space is limited. Registration required at (407) 835-7323.

 

3. “STRANGER THINGS” ESCAPE ROOM

2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the Winter Garden Library, 805 E. Plant St.

See if you have what it takes to liberate some waffles, survive the Upside Down and escape the Demogorgon. Recommended for tweens and teens. Space is limited. Registration required at (407) 835-7323.
