The Dr. Phillips Little League Majors (12-year-old) All-Star team kicked off their district tournament strong, as they brought home a 12-2 win over Windermere at the Winter Garden Little League baseball fields on Saturday, June 22.
And the winning didn’t stop there for the Majors team, as they rounded off the afternoon with a 9-4 win in game two over host Winter Garden.
With back-to-back wins, the DPLL’s Majors will take on Windermere for the District 14 title on Tuesday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the WGLL fields.
