Rezoning for development projects slated for commission meeting tonight in Winter Garden

The commission will also vote on approval for purchasing additional equipment for police, a contract for the Dillard Street project and additional business concerning a possible downtown hotel.

Commissioners will vote on official rezoning regarding multiple development projects on June 27 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 300 West Plant St., in Winter Garden. 

Second readings and subsequent public hearings are scheduled tonight for the rezoning of the Historic Packing Plant (1061, 1063 and 1065 Tildenville School Rd.,) a possible downtown boutique hotel location (8 North Highland Ave.,) and the Tucker Oaks Development project (15500 West Colonial Drive.)

An ordinance for new regulations for golf courses is also on the agenda which would establish a city-wide standard of upkeep for course owners. 

In regular business, the commission will vote on the purchase of additional speed measurement equipment for the Winter Garden Police Department, agreements and licenses for the proposed hotel location and authorization of the negotiation— and purchase— of property at 537 South Dillard St., as part of the Dillard Street Project.
