Windermere LL 9-11 All-Star softball team defeats Lake Mary in 20-4 win

It was an explosion of runs for the Windermere LL 9-11 All-Star softball team, as they defeated Lake Mary 20-4 in the opening game of sectionals on Friday, June 28.

The WLL 9-11 All-Star softball team kicked off the game with a collective bang — scoring 10 runs in the top of the first inning alone. What followed was a showcase of impressive softball that would eventually lead to their big 20-4 win.

The following day — Saturday, June 29 — saw the team keep up the pace, as they eventually would go on to claim the Florida Section 5 championship and seal up a spot at States.
