Obituary: Gary E. Kelyman

Gary E. Kelyman, 66, of Howey in the Hills, Florida, our beloved Son, Brother and Uncle, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, of cardiac arrest. He was the son of George and Marilyn Kelyman of Meadville, Pennsylvania. 

Gary graduated from Meadville High in 1970 and attended Edinboro College. He served in the United States Army from 1974-76. Gary was retired and enjoyed riding his Harley, and he had a green thumb for gardening.

Gary is survived by his mother, Marilyn Kelyman of Winter Garden, Florida; brother, Daniel Kelyman of Clermont, Florida; nephews, Daniel Kelyman Jr. of Clermont and Jason Kelyman and wife Janna of Howey in the Hills; and several great-nieces and -nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, George, and sister-in-law, Patti Kelyman.

There will be a private service for the family at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, Florida, where he will rest in peace beside his father. There will also be a celebration of Gary’s life at a later date for family and friends.
