WINDERMERE People and their pups took advantage of the nice weather as they spent a day dedicated to pets in downtown Windermere during the town’s Petfest on Saturday, March 9. The third annual event is always a fun time for pets and their humans. This year’s event included pet-related vendors, food trucks, music, a doggie fun zone and doggie games. Additionally, some pet rescues — including cat rescue Candy’s Cats — brought adoptable animals for participants to consider welcoming into their homes.
