Willer "Dean" Lott, 87, made residence in her eternal heavenly home Wednesday, April 24, 2019, after a short but valiant battle with illness. Her devotion to her family and her faith in Jesus Christ supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Dean was born to the late James and Estelle Sanders in Opp, Alabama, on Aug. 16, 1931. She was an active member of the Ocoee Church of God, a disciple of Jesus Christ and a fervent prayer warrior.
Dean was blessed with a large and loving family. She was married to Johnnie Paul Lott Sr. for more than 50 years before his death in 2006.
Following the untimely death of her in-laws, she and Johnnie began raising and supporting several of Johnnie’s younger siblings who became like brothers and sisters. She and Johnnie founded Lott’s Concrete Products Inc. She was a hard worker and a phenomenal cook who loved to feed her family; she enjoyed fishing and remaining as active as possible.
Dean is survived by her daughter, Belinda (Bobby); her son, Paul (Brenda); her grandchildren, Scott (Melanie), April (Sean), J.P. (Nicolette), Allie and Kristi (Jeffie); her great-granddaughter, Abigail Grace; and her siblings, Roy, Billy Charles, Ermalee and Mert. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Paul Lott Sr.; her parents; and her brother, Leon.
The family gathered for a viewing from 5 to 6 p.m. and received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 26, at Baldwin Fairchild in Winter Garden. Funeral services followed at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at First Baptist Winter Garden.
The Rev. Rick Faircloth officiated the service with her grandson, the Rev. Scott Fleming, offering a reflection.
The family is grateful for your prayers, condolences and memories which are gladly accepted at baldwinfairchildwintergarden.com. Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden.
