Northbound S.R. 429 shut down following fatal crash

A fatal crash has shut down northbound S.R. 429 in Winter Garden, near Stoneybrook West Parkway.

Florida Highway Patrol tweeted that the wreck is located at mile marker 19. Troopers said the crash was a three-vehicle, head-on collision. 

One driver was dead at the scene, according to the tweet, and another is in critical condition.

Northbound S.R. 429 will be shut down for the next few hours as officials investigate and clear the road. Drivers are being rerouted via C.R. 535.
