Horizon West residents spent Saturday night celebrating community at the Memorial Day Barbecue in Hamlin. Food, drinks and games were at hand in the sunshine in the field next to Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas for all visitors. Children could barely be drawn out of the bounce castles as local bands The Down Brothers and The Andy Burr Band took the stage. In the shade, other neighbors wrote thank you letters to service members or held coloring pages down in the wind as little ones scribbled.
