Friends and neighborhoods gathered at the Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine location in Hamlin Thursday, Oct. 24, to show their support and raise money for Dionisio “Dio” Encarnacion, a bartender who was struck by a car while walking home after work last month.
The gathering promoted the ongoing GoFundMe page for the Bosphorous bartender, raising money for his medical bills. On Thursday during the event, a dollar was donated to Encarnacion for every drink featuring a Jim Beam product.
