Ocoee police arrested a 28-year-old man Monday, Feb. 3, after they say he posed on a dating app as a teenage boy and met with a 13-year-old girl in an Ocoee park.

According to Ocoee police, officers responded to Bob Sorenson Field at 1755 Adair St. after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arriving, officers said they found Clayton Everett Colborn with the girl near the park restrooms.

Police said an investigation found that Colborn met the girl on the dating app Yubo, where he posed as a 16-year-old boy named Jason Rich. He has been charged with lewd and lascivious battery, as well as with obscene communication — travel to meet after using a computer to lure.

Colborn is being held at the Orange County Jail on bonds totaling $14,000.

Ocoee police encourages anyone who may have been in similar contact with Colborn, as well as anyone with information about this incident, to contact the Ocoee Police Department at (407) 905-3160 or Crimeline at (407) 423-TIPS.

Police also reminded citizens that Safer Internet Day takes place Tuesday, Feb. 11. This year's theme is "Together for a better Internet," and the Central Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is working daily to make the digital world safe from predators, cyberbullies and other online dangers.
