Obituary: Anita Holbrooks Simpson

Anita Holbrooks Simpson died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019.

Anita was a resident of Winter Garden and could be encountered daily as she walked her beloved Border Collie, “Scout,” through downtown Winter Garden and local dog parks. Her infectious, friendly spirit continues to affect those who know her.

Anita is survived by three children, Emily Parr (Joshua) and Amy Simpson, of Orlando, and Scott Simpson of Jacksonville; and one grandchild, Avery Parr. She is also survived by her mother, Shirley Jackson Holbrooks, of Winter Garden; sister, Laura Stinson, of West Palm Beach; brother, Roy Holbrooks, of Cleveland, Georgia; sister, Lisa Eldridge, of Winter Garden; and brother, Joseph Holbrooks, of Winsted, Connecticut. 

She is predeceased by her brother, Tommy Thomas, and her father, Bennie Holbrooks. 

A memorial service will take place in West Palm Beach March 21.
