Ocoee City Hall reopens to public

As part of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Executive Order — Phased Reopening Plan, Ocoee City Hall is open to the public on a limited basis starting on Monday, June 1. City Hall will be open to the public during normal business hours, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays.

Anyone entering City Hall must wear a protective face covering that conforms to the CDC’s recommendations. Visitors also will be required to strictly observe social distancing. Access to City Hall will be limited to those services that require extensive personal interaction with staff, such as to establish a utility account or discuss a planned construction project, according to the city.

The public is being encouraged to continue using the City Hall utility payment drop boxes, mail payments or pay online to reduce the need for in-person contact.

For building permits, development plans and inspections, citizens should continue to use the city’s electronic system at permits.ocoee.org. The public is encouraged to make appointments to discuss specific needs.
