Students at Whispering Oak Elementary saw just how much their teachers care for them and miss them on Thursday, March 26 during a teacher parade around the school attendance zone.
Faculty members taped signs to their vehicles and paraded around the neighborhoods served by Whispering Oak. Students lined the streets, waiting for a glimpse of their teachers as they drove past, waving and honking their horns. Some students made signs, and others wrote messages in chalk on the sidewalks.
