It was all Windermere Prep in the Lakers' 64-21 win over Trinity Prep on Friday, Oct. 9.
Offensively the Lakers (1-1) saw big nights from two key playmakers in quarterback Zane Fullmer and sophomore running back Jackson Bennett. Fullmer would finish the night with five-passing touchdowns, with Bennett being on the other end of four of those throws. Bennett would finish with a whopping seven touchdowns (four receiving, three rushing) and set a school record for most points scored in a game with 42.
With their first win in hand, Windermere Prep will look to make it two wins in a row as the Lakers face Lake Highland Prep on Friday, Oct. 16, at home. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
