21 West and Southwest Orange County football players named to Cure Classic All-Star Game

The game will take place at Showalter Field in Winter Park on Dec. 16.

Varsity Sports Network announced the rosters for the Cure Classic Senior football All-Star Game on Wednesday, and features plenty of West and Southwest Orange County athletes from many of the area’s schools. 

The squads are separated into two teams, Team Soldier and Team Warrior, and feature the highest performing seniors at their position from Orange, Seminole, and Lake counties. 

Dr. Phillips and West Orange have the most representatives of West/Southwest Orange County teams with six each.

West Orange's players named include running back Terrell Walden II, safety Tony Newsome, linebacker Anthony Joseph, linebacker Quinton Hatch, cornerback Javan Robinson, and receiver Rocky Rudolph. 

The Panthers sent receiver Joanes Fortilien, offensive tackle Rubean Pierre, defensive tackle Kris Herera, cornerback Kameryn Metcalf, center Devon Hill and defensive end TyQuan Cooper to the game. 

Olympia had three players named to the game, including quarterback CJ Brooks. 

Running back Charles Pierre Jr. and offensive guard Dominic Zacarro will represent Ocoee. 

Windermere's Elijah Blackmon was also included. 

Three West Orange County private schools sent one representative each: Terrence Mosely (The First Academy), Ian Garcia (Foundation Academy) and Travis McCaskill (Central Florida Christian). 

The game will take place at Showalter Field in Winter Park on Dec. 16.
