An Oakland Police Department officer recently went viral on TikTok for her eye-catching dance moves.
Lieutenant Angela Campbell was helping local law enforcement work a University of Central Florida football game when she saw lilmark_m256 busting out some holiday dance moves.
Campbell immediately jumped in.
"I didn't even know they were doing a TikTok," Campbell said. "I had no idea who that was but he looked like he was having fun."
The video has now taken off, receiving over 3.3 million views since it was posted on Friday, Nov. 26. Over 586,000 people have commented and the numbers are still going up.
"Made my day seeing this," miko5451 said. "She did amazing."
blackphoenixrisen chimed in saying "Love that you're spreading smiles and positivity. This shows that so well."
The video is one of the highest watched on lilmark_m256's channel which has over 5.7 million followers.
"She 100% passed the vibe check," itz.clover.official said.
Campbell said she never expected the video to take off the way it did.
"People have been so negative towards law enforcement but 99.9% of the comments on here are so positive about it and that in itself has just been awesome," Campbell said.
Campbell said the officers spent the day meeting people, playing games and dancing while helping keep the community safe.
"We are not all robots, like how someone mentioned in one of the comments, we are human," Campbell said. "It's okay for me to love to serve my community and love to have fun also. It showed us in a different light. We aren't just there to arrest and give tickets."
Although Campbell said the video is great, she does not plan on continuing her TikTok career.
