Ocoee to remember Pearl Harbor

The city will remember World War II on the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The City of Ocoee is hosting a ceremony to remember Pearl Harbor. 

The city will remember World War II on the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor Tuesday, Dec. 7.

The event, presented by the American Legion Post 109 and VFW Post 4305, will include appearances by Mayor Rusty Johnson, several Ocoee District Commissioners and many local veterans. 

The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. before the regularly scheduled Ocoee City Commission meeting to be held at 6:15 p.m.

The public is invited to attend the event, which will take place at the Ocoee City Hall, 150 N. Lakeshore Drive.
