West Orange Girls Club opens registration for fast-pitch softball

All divisions can register through Aug. 20.

Registration is now open for the West Orange Girls Club fast-pitch softball fall season.

All divisions can register through Aug. 20. Evaluations will be held on Aug. 21, and teams will be chosen Aug. 22. Practices will begin that week, and opening day will be Saturday, Sept. 11.

The club will play other local Babe Ruth teams in District 6 such as Mt. Dora, Leesburg and Umatilla. Some travel may be required. The season will run through Nov. 13.

The league is open to all girls ages 5 and up; beginners and experienced players are welcome.
