OCPS Food and Nutrition Services hiring for more than 200 positions

The FNS team will host a summer job fair Wednesday, June 30, at Church of Ascension on S. Apopka Vineland Road.

Orange County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services is ready to hire for more than 200 positions available in the department.

The school district will host a summer job fair for the FNS team from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Church of Ascension, 4950 S. Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando. Anyone interested in the culinary industry is encouraged to attend the job fair or apply online.

"If you want to have an amazing job in child nutrition, join the OCPS Food and Nutrition Services family," said Lora Gilbert, senior director of Food and Nutrition Services. "We are a group of cooks, servers, experts in safety and sanitation, making nutritious food every school day for children. Hungry students can’t learn, so it’s our job to serve great tasting healthy food that children enjoy. We are a very important part of ensuring the success of students in Orange County Public Schools."
