Students, staff and families are coming together at West Orange High School to help clean up the campus.

The WOHS PTSO is inviting locals to come out for Beautification Day on Saturday, Nov. 13.

The event is a great opportunity for students to earn community service hours and for West Orange families to get involved. Students will earn double the hours and parent hours will go to the students.

Volunteers are asked to bring gloves and yard tools such as rakes, shovels, and tree trimmers, and close-toed shoes are recommended.

Those who wish to volunteer can sign up for their choice of shifts. The first shift will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the second shift will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The WOHS PTSO is also asking for donations in the form of snacks or water for volunteers.
