Two Florida-based grocery chains are placing limitations on some Thanksgiving items.
According to officials, both Publix and Winn-Dixie are placing some restrictions in place due to ongoing supply chain issues and the increased holiday demand.
Over the weekend, Publix, which operates nearly 1,300 stores across seven states in the Southeast, issued a list of goods it is limiting to just two per shopper.
The last time the grocery giant placed a limitation on items was during the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, where certain restrictions were placed on cleaning equipment including hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes.
The following items were listed by Publix to have a two-item limit per customer:
Winn-Dixie, which operates stores in five Southern states including Florida, is limiting the number of turkeys to one per customer.
The store is currently not placing limitations on any other holiday items.
