Public meeting Thursday for proposed turnpike interchange at Avalon

Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise is hosting the meeting Thursday, Oct. 7, at Tanner Hall.

The public is invited to give input at a meeting being hosted by Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at Tanner Hall, 29 W. Garden Ave., Winter Garden.

To be discussed will be the proposed widening project and proposed interchange at Avalon Road north of West Colonial Drive and near Tucker Ranch.

FTE is conducting a study for widening the turnpike; the study limits extend from south of State Road 408 to West Colonial and along S.R. 408 from the turnpike interchange to east of the Old Winter Garden Road overpass.
